The König Brewery, based in the Beeck district of Duisburg, Germany, was founded by Theodor König in 1858. Famous for brewing König Pilsener, it was the first German brewery to produce a hoppier pilsner in 1911. Today, it is part of the Bitburger Brewery Group.
